This holiday was awesome actually because last week on Saturday I thought of going out somewhere because I barely go out anywhere so i decided that we should go out somewhere so I went on Maps and I was looking around then I saw this place called Golf Harbour and I looked at the photos and it looked like a pretty nice place so I went to tell my mum about the idea then when I told my mum about the idea then she said’ I'm not sure? But I convinced her for us to go then she finally said yes I was very excited!

I asked my mum when we were going and she said’ in 20 minutes’ ok! I said so in those 20 minutes I started drawing then 20 minutes passed and it was about time we got ready so I got into my nice fresh clothes and my mum did my hair then I slid on my nice white shoes then we went the drive was 2 and a half hours are you sure you want to go? Said my mum, I replied sure! So we drove along and when we reached I was excited about what place we were going to go. I asked my mum and replied Cherry Cafe. I thought this would be exciting so we went to Cherry Cafe and the food was delicious. I told my mum we should go to this place some other time and she said ok. Yay i said

After we ate we went to this beach. It was a beautiful beach. In front of the beach was grass and trees and it was so green. After admiring the greenery we went to the beach and we found all sorts of shells. Some of them looked like a unicorn horn! There were all sorts of shapes like one of them was square shaped, some of them were multicoloured, they all were different like how we are different!!!!

The past eruption of Mt Tarawera

The eruption was on June 10th 1886 that was 2,000 years ago the eruption lasted 6 hours and caused massive destruction. It destroyed several villages along with the famous hot springs which are basically the pink and white terraces. The smoke and ash rised up to 10 km high before the people knew a volcano was erupting they thought it was the Russian war ship attacking the country but after a bit they released it was a volcano they were trying to run away from the eruption but it wasn't possible thousands of people died and the city's sank in the mud and now it's all underground and some people's bodies are underground but anesthesiologists now found the whole city and even the bodies it was as bad as getting an injection on both of your shoulders. It was a disaster!

So there once was a mountain who lived quiet a peaceful life but he had a bully I could say the bully's name was Tongariro they were enemies because they both had the same person they like so they are now enemies but when they were little they weren't enemies and they were friends and there favourite game was play fight! But now they are no longer friends and now their “play” fight got rougher and rougher and soon they went to a point where it got serious they had a wore for their love the ladies name is Pihnaga. The problem in the story is that they at first were friends and now they are enemies and Pihanga was sad she didn't want to choose between them and the resolution is how he was no longer sad and he knew that his love loved him back and he had a chance. At first they should've stayed friends and if they have the same love then they could share her and that is the story of the Taranaki !

My unusual weekend by liana

This is my unusual weekend …..On Saturday morning I full of joy because I had a full day ahead of me full of lots of fun activities like for example i had a pottery class I had to go to and if you are wondering what a pottery class is it's where you have some sort of circle and there is clay so then you have to use your hands to shape the thing you want to make gets in shape and also the things you can make is a sculpture a vase a pot and a mug and everyone made a mug and when we went to the class there was a cat with here kitten and they were so adorable the class was a blast and the good news is we're going back in 2 weeks! I'm so excited .

After the pottery class we went to Botany and we went there because my mum loves that place! So when we reached we were clueless where to go because her friend told her just to go to Botany and by the way we went on our exciting journey with my mom's friend and her daughter but when we figured out where we had to go I was so happy because we went…...TIMEZONE if you don't know what timezone is it's a gaming place i played so much games there and I didn’ t get much points!!!! What was very upsetting but it's okay there is always another time but after playing all thoughts games we were hungary so went to a food restaurant and what I got there was so delicious that I wanted a dozen of them I got some spicy noodles and a black forest cake a black forest cake is a chocolate cake with whip cream on top and chocolate sprinkles on top after eating we went home and when we got home I had a weird feeling in the stomach and I kept coughing then I realized ….. I WAS SICK in a bad way I had a flu and a cold mixed up together and when I realized I didn't want to tell my mum because then I will get so much medicines but I had know other choice because I don't want to stay sick so I told my mum and now its been 3 days and i'm still sick I wonder what made me sick but I really don't like being sick my my fun day had a twist and that is my unusual weekend
